Advances in Structural and Chemical Imaging Workshop
May 22 - 23, 2017
The PREMIER Network will hold its fifth annual Advances in Structural & Chemical Imaging (ASCI) Workshop May 22-23, 2017 in conjunction with University of Oregon and the Center for Advanced Materials Characterization in Oregon (CAMCOR).
The workshop serves as a forum for researchers and professionals to come together in an interdisciplinary meeting on chemical imaging that bridges the major divide between the structural biology and material science communities. The multitude of methods being employed are linked by common themes in their desire to achieve chemical specificity, high spatial resolution (atomic in some cases) and the need to acquire, process and analyze large data sets to identify signature events.
