What is the ONAMI High Tech Extension?

The High-Tech Extension connects businesses with R&D resources, providing companies access to research, technology development, prototyping and testing via ONAMI's three Shared User Facilities.

Shared User Facility Services:

  • Advanced Materials Characterization
  • Fabrication and Prototyping
  • Research and Engineering
  • Education/Teaching
  • Commercialization

Locations and Details:

Center for Advanced Materials Characterization in Oregon (CAMCOR) at the University of Oregon, Eugene

Center for Electron Microscopy and Nanofabrication (CEMN) at Porland State University, Portland

Microproducts Breakthrough Institute (MBI) at Oregon State University, Corvallis

Available Instrumentation:

Advanced Materials Characterization (NMR, XRD, TEM, XPS, more...) and

Fabrication Services (ALD, Laser Micromachinging, MicroEDM, more...)

are available to academic and industry scientists and engineers.  Expert staff are available to support the user from experimental design through data collection. Partnerships, including research and engineering, internships programs, and lease of facility space can also be arranged.
